Water that is Unseen

There have been many instances where a customer does not know they have a water leak until they walk on their carpet. They may take a quick look at the basement and everything looks normal... but then the musty smell alerts them. Something is not right.

So, they decide to do a walk-through and find the reason for the musty smell. The water forms perfect footprints everywhere they step. The water has been hiding in the pad under the carpet. And now every step leads them closer to the source. They may find that the water heater has been leaking from a hole in the tank. Or that the air conditioner drain tube is clogged or a sump pump has failed. Whatever the cause may be, it now needs to be repaired and the water dried up.
